Open to anyone (age 8+ to adult) with a love of Musical Theatre, The group works on excel...  moreThe Shrewsbury Theatre Singers is a new and exciting choir that started in September 2021. ​Sessions run on Tuesdays 5:30-7pm during term time, a length of 12 weeks. Open to anyone (age 8+ to adult) with a love of Musical Theatre, The group works on excelling in Musical Theatre singing, good vocal techniques and harmony work. Movement and/or acting plays a part, with plenty of opportunities for solo and small group singing if desired.

The Chorus sings a wide repertoire of music drawn from classical, pop, Musical Theatre and folk as well as The more traditional welsh hymns that are often expected! ​Since it was established, The choir has raised many thousands of pounds for charitable causes over The years.​ We rehearse at The Craven Arms Community Centre every Monday evening at 7:30pm, with The exception of bank holidays, January, and August.  less
