the Vancouver Thunderbird Chorus was the first men’s barbershop Chorus established in the Vancouver area, formed in 1950. We sing four-part harmony a cappella style, working with a repertoire of generally upbeat songs which are familiar to most people.

Founded in New York City in 2008 by Artistic Director Vince Peterson, the organization now encompasses: a roster of professional ensemble singers, a volunteer Chorus of 40-50 adults and an annual week-long Summer Institute in Brooklyn for composers and conductors.
