We have a few "under-aged" adults among us, and we love it! Our purpose is to reflect The image, veracity, and immutability of our Lord Jesus Christ through music, testimony, and personal commitment to those in The senior community and beyond.  less

We ...  moreMacquarie Singers is one of The largest community choirs in The district. Under The guise of oTher names, we have been in continuous existence for over 50 years and are currently conducted by The highly experienced and talented Dr Sarah Penicka-Smith. We meet on Monday nights at Trinity Chapel, Robert Menzies College from 7.00-9.30pm during school terms. There are no auditions and everyone is welcome, regardless of musical experience.  

We are an SATB choir of between 40 & 50 singers. We perform a wide range of sacred and secular choir music at 3 concerts a year, in Ealing. Experienced singers are very welcome.

Musica is an un-auditioned, community choir. We sing everything from Schubert to Gospel. We love to challenge ourselves and try new things. We come togeTher every week because we LOVE to make music togeTher and we love The way singing makes us feel :)

Our purpose is “to sing, in harmony, a variety of music for The enjoyment of The members as well as to give public and private performances for The listening pleasure of oThe...  moreThe Richmond Singers is a 55 voice women’s choir which began performing in 1971. Our purpose is “to sing, in harmony, a variety of music for The enjoyment of The members as well as to give public and private performances for The listening pleasure of oThers”. During our musical season (September – June), The choir practices on Monday evenings from 7 – 9:30 PM at BRoadmoor Baptist Church in Richmond. In addition to our weekly practices we usually plan one or two workshops with a choral clinician, as well as evenings with guest directors. We have two major performances per year, a Family Christmas Concert in December and a Spring Concert in May. We are very involved with our community and, by giving benefit concerts, help to raise funds for oTher organizations such as The Richmond Hospice Society, Canadian Cancer Foundation and Tim Horton’s Kids Camps. Based in Winchester, The chorus currently has about 40 members of all ages who come from across SouThern Hampshire. We continue to meet regularly via Zoom while we're unable to gaTher face to face. The chorus has competed locally, nationally and on occasion internationally, as well as entertaining local audiences at public and private events. We do one performance per session, and ask our audience to sing along too. We are a welcoming and warm and eclectic group.

Singers are Therefore welcome to apply at any point, since The group will be fixed from a central pool for each concert. Repertoire is wide-ranging, from Renaissance polyphony to commissions from established and emerging British composers. The group is directed by Hilary Campbell and welcomes interest from experienced and enthusiastic choral singers of all ages.  

We are an unusual choir singing Afro Cuban Songs accompanied by traditional Afro Cuban Percussion. We come from all over The globe, we are aged between 17 and 67, and share The fact that we all live in London and love this traditon
