Voices of Gotham is open to all Singers in The TTBB range interested in The barbershop style. Since The chorus' founding in 2008, VoG has rapidly distinguished itself as one of The country's leading incubators of both new barbershop music, and of young musical artists who will shape The continuing evolution and excellence of The barbershop tradition. VoG is ranked by The BHS as one of The top ten barbershop choruses worldwide. We sang in PORTUGAL, Burgos CaThedral, The Church of The Magdalene Torrelaguna, The Monastery of St.. Domingo de Silos, Mecerreyes Church and Collegiate Covarrubias (Burgos), The Iglesia de la Santa Cruz of Carballiño (Orense), The Iglesia de Sta. María of Requena (Valencia), Ntra. Sra. del Buen Suceso or Las Calatravas in Madrid and at Mass on Sundays TVE issues, from The parish of Los Arroyos (El Escorial). We organize The Choral Events of Colmenarejo. The choir has a high calibre of Singers drawn by its demanding musical standard and The opportunity to explore recently created music. Among The group's twenty-four members are piano and voice teachers, soloists, choir directors, organists and oThers with musical training. The ensemble has previously reached The quarter- and semi-finals of The CBC Radio Competition for Amateur Choirs. In May 2010, They were awarded second place in The chamber choir category of The National Competition for Canadian Amateur Choirs. They have performed twice at Podium, Canada's national choral conference, most recently in May 2014 in Halifax.  less
