The Sierra Boys Choir is the new revival of the Sierra Boys Choir in the 1970s, which was active in the Reno/Sparks/Carson City area and directed by Stan Burke. When Mr. Burke joined the Mario Singers and left to move to Long Beach, CA, the Choir was disbanded and a hole was left in the local arts and culture scene. The revival of the Choir is a project (and passion) of Nathan Lundholm.
Our goal is to provide musical and artistic opportunities to the boys while teaching them to be generous and thankful members of the local and global community. Our aim is to be fun and entertaining on many levels, from practices to shows, even to social events on the town.
We put all volunteers through a background check, and we ask some degree of participation from parents.
The Sierra Boys Choir is a 501c3 non-profit corp. All donations and contributions are tax-deductible.
