We sing a varied mix of music from traditional ballads and songs from The West End shows, to popular numbers. We welcome new adult members with or without prior choral experience. You do need some musical ability, but it's not essential to read music. Rehearsals are in Wembdon, near Bridgwater, on a Tuesday evening.

provided a great name for The group. Eliza’s Toyes was born, and existed every summer in Madison, Wisconsin.

As The premiere chorale Ensemble at OSU, The OSU Chamber Choir, under The direction of Dr. Steven Zielke, has garnered national attention and international awards. While touring Eastern Europe in 2001, The choir received The Grand Prize at The Festival of Light in Bulgaria, and in April 2006, The Chamber Choir was selected as The only collegiate mixed choir from outside of The state of Utah to perform at The 60th Music Educators National Biennial Conference in Salt Lake City.
The choir has performed in many exciting venues, including a performance of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony in Smetana Hall in Prague and at Strathov Monastery in Prague Castle, The first choir allowed to perform in The monastery in decades. Usually consisting of 20 to 24 members, The Chorale focuses primarily on chamber choir repertoire and tackles a wide variety of styles, languages, and techniques. Chorale membership is reserved for students who demonstrate some level of music-reading ability, experience singing in advanced choral Ensembles, and/or The potential to thrive in a small, advanced chamber choir environment. During The audition process, careful attention is given to maintaining artistic balance among The sections of The chorus. In addition to performances throughout The academic year, students in Chorale are expected to remain on campus for an additional week after The conclusion of each spring semester to perform in Baccalaureate and Commencement ceremonies and participate in end-of-year touring activities. less
