We have sung this Song in another arrangement many times in concert with Steve Knightley and Show Of Hands. This new version by Kirsten Pagel, is for a female quartet, with rich dark harmonies and a tender, aching feel.
We dedicate it to all who have passed through war, both in the past and unfortunately now, in the present. We also sing it for those within our communities that have recently lost a loved one. It has been such a difficult time to be grieving. We sing it for you to remember the best times, the friendship and the comradery and most of all, for the love that you shared together.

Otniel does not only combine the three Songs in the order of the first, second and third Songs. In a certain part, namely at the end of the Song, he combines the three Songs to be sung simultaneously with the accompaniment of applause and Christmas bells. This Song has a unique dynamic, in which Otniel wants the choir singing it to invite the entire audience to sing along and the singers must help convince the audience that the joy of Christmas is with them. In this arrangement, the singers should show an attitude that encourages the audience to dance and sing, and there are times when the singers tell stories about the atmosphere of Christmas.

Song WITHOUT BORDERS - World premiere
For the meeting of three children's and youth choirs.
The first of the three verses is sung in German, the second in Korean, the last in English - so each choir has to learn to pronounce the language of the other, an adventure! With simple, poetic words, "Song without borders" deals with the chance of children to create a future worth living for the adults of tomorrow through mobility, empathy and energy. The music to it illustrates in the first verse the sea as a metaphor of eternal movement, in the second the feeling together, in the third the positive action of holDing together. less
