We sing a mix of world, gospel pop and folk music often with a left leaning theme. We attend annual Sing for Water events in London and Manchester and Street Choirs Festival. We rehearse, in excellent facilities provided by Hutchesons' Grammar School, on Monday evenings, Aug - Nov and Jan - Mar; we give two concerts, in Nov ...  moreHCS is a non-auditioning, Mixed-voice Choir of approx 60 voices, based in the south side of Glasgow. We rehearse, in excellent facilities provided by Hutchesons' Grammar School, on Monday evenings, Aug - Nov and Jan - Mar; we give two concerts, in Nov and Mar, in an on-site auditorium, with 3-manual digital organ. The auditorium can accommodate 60 singers, up to 30 orchestral players and an audience of around 250 (300 max).
