OrigInatIng from a Leicestershire youth choir and reformIng as an adult choir In February 2009, members now come together to perform about five times each year. HavIng tasted success as a Youth Choir In Llangollen In 1998, the choir returned In their new guise as a Female Choir In July 2010, wInnIng their section and takIng their place In the Choir of the World competition. This success was followed by concerts In Macclesfield and BirmIngham and a wIn at the North Wales Choral Festival In November 2011. In 2012, the choir competed In the Fleischmann International Trophy Competition at the Cork Choral Festival and won 2nd prize In this year's International Eisteddfod In Llangollen. His work In aviation started with a job as an Inspector In an aircraft factory. He went on to become a test pilot In World War II, servIng at the South India Air Depot at Bangalore, India. He often spoke later of his experience on the ship to India and the people he met travellIng around the subcontInent. We are made up of 3 different choirs - Mixed Chorus, Treble Choir, and Concert Choir. All of our members are students at Port Huron Northern High School and range from 13-18 years of age. We all share a Love of music and create joy through sIngIng together.
