Our motto is: "One Choir, One Community, No Divides, ALL Abilities"
The aim of Music matters and our inclusive community choir projects is to unite all of our members through the universal language of music - regardless of previous musical experience, ability, language, socio-economic status or other barriers which may prevent our members from being able to fully participate in other musical groups.
Our choral projects include: inclusive community choirs for people with and without disabilities, choirs specifically for adults with intellectual disabilities, and choirs for older people, with a particular focus on those with dementia and memory loss.
There are now a total of ten choirs operating in the Dublin area, with more planned for 2015!

This song is just one track from our debut album "Music matters: Celebrating 140 Characters"
The album features 140 Singers (which is reflected in the title!) from 9 to 90+ years of age! Tracks include "Carrickfergus", to "Royals" by Lorde, to original compositions by our own choir members - making it the most eclectic album you have ever heard!
This song was kindly donated to us by Neville Lloyd. Music & Lyrics by Neville Lloyd. Choral & Piano Arrangement by Vincent Lynch.
Join us at our launch - Tuesday 23rd September, 7.00 PM at Axis Ballymun in Dublin and help us celebrate a fantastic achievement!
This project was proudly supported & funded by the Community & Social Development Service and Arts & Culture Department of Dublin City... less
