The Snow, composed by Edward Elgar.
Cantores Celestes, directed by Kelly Galbraith with Jef ten Kortenaar and CaTherine Chalmers on violin and Ellen Meyer on piano.
The lyrics were written by Elgar's wife, Alice, who was a published author of poetry and fiction. The poem is a romantic Victorian plea for keeping The soul pure:
O, Snow, which sinks so light,
Brown earth is hid from sight
O soul, be thou as white as Snow
O Snow which falls so slow,
Dear earth quite warm below;
O heart, so keep thy glow
Beneath The Snow.
