Numerous participations, diplomas and awards at international choral competitions and festivals throughout Europe have been recorded in the choir’s artistic biography. It has issued three CDs, a documentary „The Journey” and a book.The choir has been honoured with two prestigious Bulgarian awards in the field of the musical art: The Golden Lyre of the Union of the Bulgarian Musicians and Dancers and the Golden Plaque of the Bulgarian ChoralUnion – both of them for its creative activity and contribution to the Bulgarian musical culture. All of our singers have been hand-picked and sing with some of the top amateur and professional choirs in the country, including: I Fagiolini, Genesis Sixteen, The Carice Singers, Renaissance, The National Youth choir of Great Britain and many more. The vocal section of the Goldberg Ensemble, consisting of about 22 singers coming from various established choirs in Malta, brings together choral enthusiasts to perform primarily baroque choral music in a more exhaustive manner. The musicians too are distinguished performers in their own right who tour Europe extensively, and who are versatile on both modern and baroque instruments. The ensemble's director, Michael Laus, is the inspiration and motivator of the Goldberg Ensemble, whose harpsichord playing and conducting have been highly acclaimed by the international press.  less
