A thriving local choir, the Bedford Choral Society performs three or four times each year - usually in Bedford's historic Corn Exchange. They have moved up to the top training level...after starting in beginning levels in the Summit Children's Choir. Through dedication and hard-work SOC has carved for itself a niche and identity of not many but sings like a thousand voices to its audience and the Choral hub in Ghana. Rev. Mr & Mrs Sam Korankye Ankrah, the Apostle General and his wife the Premier Lady of Royalhouse Chapel International, serves as the Executive Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the choir. The choir has two (2) album to its credit namely Kashe Gbeye (Danceable tunes) & Afe Ato Hen (A Christmas Danceable tunes) and several live performances ranging from hymns, anthems, classical etc to its credit. It's a lot of fun! We welcome all levels of Singers ages 12 thru senior in high school and there is no audition required. We are part of the School of Rock program and this is a paid program. They are guests of musical Festivals and shows, such as Maldon Festival of Arts in England and Anima Mea – Musiche Mondi Memorie. They were also guests of Pontificio Comitato di Scienze storiche in Santa Croce in Gerusalemme in Rome to celebrate 500 years from V Lateran Council.
