As a choir, the Consort has a wide repertoire, ranging from Early Church music through to Folksongs and modern works. Each programme is different and reflects the wishes of those for whom we perform.
Since the Consort’s formation it has raised, through its choral concerts, many thousands of pounds for a wide range of charities and churches. It is always glad to consider invitations from such organisations. Its services are given voluntarily, although a contribution towards its music library and other expenses is gratefully received.
We would love to come and sing to you and help you raise much needed funds for your cause.
In addition to singing at Fund Raising events, the Choir is available to sing at private functions, weddings, funerals and so on less

We recommend playing with your smartphone and headphones via the YouTube application. Thanks to this, you will be able to experience the interactive, immersive sound and vision in the best way. YouTube platform only supports 1st order Ambisonics (1OA), which means low spatial resolution of the auditory image. The recording was also posted on the HOAST platform, where you can find the version with the 4th order Ambisonics (4OA); we warmly invite you to check that version as well!

This recording was created at the time when many people got vaccinated for COVID-19, thus the restrictions were loosened enough so the Academic Choir of Gdańsk University of Technology could return to rehearsals. This was after a long break, during which the choir practiced singing in a remote manner. In order to celebrate the possibility of regular, normal rehearsing, two-day weekend choral workshops were carried out. This was very e... less

Maeran are Dominic Ward and Steve Wilson. They met at Liverpool University and have been writing, recording and performing ever since. They originally performed covers of Simon-Garfunkel songs, but soon began producing their own original blend of folk/folk rock music combining unique melodies, captivating vocal and instrumental arrangements and powerful poignant lyrics that challenge people to listen to what they have to say.
I'm glad, I am very grateful for you, Marean! less
