Each season, the choir presents four or five concerts, incorporating a blend of repertoire from gospel to sacred to pop to oratorio. Classical highlights include St. Matthew Passion, Elijah, the annual Messiah, Carmina Burana, and Bach's B Minor Mass, which was a crowning achievement for the choir’s 10th and 20th anniversaries. Other popular concerts have featured the musical and comedic talents of Natalie Choquette, the famous and charismatic Michael Burgess, and the stirring sounds of spirituals under the direction of Brainerd Blyden-Taylor, whose own professional chamber choir, The Nathaniel Dett Chorale, headed for Washington to join the celebrations around President Obama’s inauguration. less

Drowning
Surrounded by a sea of skyscrapers
The numbers are my frowning
Time takes away my breath
Every minute I am drowning
The view from up here is gorgeous
But I cannot see any beauty
All I see is an ocean of illusions
In which greed makes life draggy
Few people can realize
That a smile is nothing more than teeth
A hand-shake is nothing more than skin
And on this ocean of illusions we keep going
Because we need to feed our fears
And give birth to more problems
That should not exist.
I wish I could be stronger
I wish I could be brave
I wish I could have wings to fly away
But I am just a fish
Swimming to survive
Waiting for the moment to die. less

The choir’s work was interrupted for several years during its members’ academic education, as well as during their participation in different musical projects. The present line-up has been steady since 2006. Their repertoire offers a variety of styles of great difficulty and chromatic richness, and tries to take advantage of the cultural and geographic circumstances which make of the Canary Islands a multicultural place.
A remarkable feature of the group is their willingness to innovate within the choral music.
Their versatility and the variety of repertoire they face can be seen in the different projects they have taken part in: short operas, official or private events, festivals, and monographic concerts on different subjects. A few instances of the choir’s late activity are the following:
- Several concerts in Moscow in December 2006, as guests of the Spanish Embassy.

We started in small number of members until it grew bigger and bigger. During those Times we were known to be a very good chorale group in our Diocese. It was the Time where or group shined the most. Like other groups, our group also had its flop. Some of us are already busy studying in college after we graduated high school. That's why we need to find new members. We suffered from having lack of commitment of other members, and it gave us a difficult Time to find new members. But our Maestro never gave up. He continued to build the group.
We have a lot of plans to build again and let this group shine again with its brightest light.
We are still sharing our music because welove this group and the passion to serve Christ through music is burning within our hearts. less
