The Song 'Moon River' originally made famous in the film 'Breakfast at Tiffany's with Audrey Hepburn. The soloists in this Song are Andrea Hope and Alan Beattie. Inclusive is the word which probably best describes Open Arts Community Choir. It features people with disabilites and those without, from every section of the community in Northern Ireland. The age range is extensive, from seventeen to over seventy but most importantly members are united by their love of singing. Comprised of professionally trained musicians, Innismara is dedicated to the performance of the intimate and hidden treasures of the vocal ensemble repertoire. Innismara made its debut in the summer of 2010 at Muses and Minstrels: A Festival of Early Performing Arts held in conjunction with the Cupids 400 celebrations. In collaboration with the Hot Earth Ensemble, Innismara performed music from the late Renaissance and early Baroque, highlights of which were recorded for national broadcast on CBC Radio. The success of these performances led to an invitation to participate in a series of workshops and performances in the Labrador Inuit communities of Nunatsiavut in the spring of 2011. The Song was originally written in 1928 for an unpublished operetta named East Is West. It was eventually published in 1930 and included in the Broadway musical Girl Crazy where it was performed by Ginger Rogers in a Song and dance routine choreographed by Fred Astaire. Billie Holiday's 1944 recording was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2005.  

A gospel Song, celebrating Pentecost and recorded by the choir in their homes during the Covid-19 lockdown of Spring Summer 2020. The Song premiered on London's Wandsworth Prison Radio on 31st May 2020 is dedicated to the staff and prisoners there.

Concerts by the group feature a cappella music of Scandinavia and the Baltics, as well as North-American composers. Music by composers such as Mäntyjärvi, Daniel-Lesur, Rautavaara, Martin and Pärt are ideal showcases for the choir’s lush and full sound. Members of the group are dedicated to excellence in rehearsing and performing. With a repertoire consisting of 8 to 16-part music, the twenty singers are mostly performing as soloists. Now in its fifth season, voces boreales has already performed in a number of prestigious concert series, such as the National Arts Centre eXpres- sion series, Musique Chez Nous at Bishop's University, Mondial Choral Laval and the Montreal International Bach-Academy.
