Having been friends and in the choral scene for twenty years, the two have been talking about a project like this for around fifteen years.
Spurred by the release of the revised English missal, Alejandro and Eugene both thought it a good time to finally restart the project that they had shelved for some time. Only now, the idea wasn’t just to end with a single album; the idea was now to establish a ministry that would introduce a new generation of music to Philippine Catholics. The new ministry would have as its aim the creation of beautiful music to help the faithful to a more prayerful, solemn state of mind. Springing from that, they both decided that the new ministry would be called Solemne Ministry.
for its first project, Misa Solemne, the ministry features Solemne, Solemne Ministry’s flagship choir and the one Al... less

Joshua's music is beloved by audiences across MN and the upper-Midwest. His music fuses many styles and techniques; Ancient Chant, Medieval organum, Russian orthodox liturgy, and the shimmering harmonies of modern choral music, to name a few. Audience members often comment that Josh's music is their favorite part of a From Age to Age concert, or they will ask Josh why we didn't perform another known favorite of theirs that Josh has written. Nice's music is well suited for advanced high-school, collegiate, community and professional choirs. Joshua is accepting commissions for the upcoming 2012-2013 season. If you're interested in commissioning Joshua to write a piece for your group, and/or if you would like to purchase his music, email: joshua_g_nice@hotmail.com or find him on facebook at:

One of our favourite songs has to be the Rev Eli Jenkins’ Sunset Poem from Under Milk Wood. If you want to hear the “Tenors in Dowlais” please listen to this recording, done recently in our practice hall.
We hope you will be pleased with our tribute to this famous son of Wales, Dylan Thomas.
Please enjoy! less
