The cornerstone of the Chorus is traditional boychoir music including Sacred and secular pieces spanning the Middle Ages to the present. The Chorus incorporates songs and ballads of the American Southwest and otHer repertoire into its program in a unique way. Costumed as cowboys the boys sing the songs of the saddle and showcase their trick rodeo roping. The Chorus also performs contemporary music including Broadway show tunes, international songs, holiday music and modern favorites. Additionally, the Chorus represents the Tucson community as a world renowned choral organization. It has toured throughout the U.S. and many countries around the world. In exitu Israel de Aegypto, domus Iacob de populo barbaro. When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a barbarous people: Facta est Iudaea sanctificatio eius, Israel potestas eius. Judea made his sanctuary, Israel his dominion. Mare vidit et fugit, Iordanis conversus est retrorsum. The sea saw and fled: Jordan was turned back.  

Morten Lauridsen's beautiful setting of "O Magnum Mysterium", performed by Reading's Tamesis Chamber Choir at Douai Abbey. Recorded on Saturday 13th July 2013, as part of the final concert of the "A La Carte" season.
