This was the Vocal ArtiSts Bon Voyage Concert prior to their Argentine tour and performance at the 9th International World Choral Symposium. "Stars" was commissioned by and dedicated to the Salt Lake Vocal ArtiSts and Brady Allred. This piece calls for tuned glasses and specifically tuned Tibetan Singing bowls. The Singers are directed by Dr Simon Lindley, Music Director since the choir's foundation in 1977. The plainchant verses are sung by soprano Sarah Kelly, and the solo quartet (positioned remotely from the main choir) comprises soprano Julie Kilburn, alto Lucy Appleyard, tenor Jonathan Morrish and bass Quentin Brown.
