One';">moreOne;">Carlow Choral Society Carlow Choral Society is a mixed-voice choir of over 60 members (SATB) directed by Blánaid Murphy, Musical Director of the Palestrina Choir, St. Mary’s ProCathedral Girls Choir, Dublin Bach Singers and RIAM Choir. We Annually we perform two large concerts with professional soloists and orchestral musicians in Carlow, ‘Glory of Christmas’ in the National Concert Hall and annual ‘Christmas Crackers’ family concert in the George Bernard Shaw Theatre, Carlow. We have a remarkable repertoire of many choral works such as Handel’s Messiah, Bach’s St. Mathews & St. John Passion, Verdi’s Requiem, Haydn’s The Creation & Seasons, Brahm’s Requiem & many more. We sing at home & abroad. In November 2011 the choir recorded a Christmas CD. New members are welcome. We rehearse in St. Patrick’s College, Carlow Monday nights from 7.45-10pm. Gradski pjevački zbor „Neuma“ iz Drniša u svom širokom repertoaru veliku pozornost posvećuje korizmenim napjevima kojima hrvatska tradicijska baština obiluje. Kako nažalost već drugu godinu zaredom, zbog pandemije koronavirusa, održavanje korizmenih konc... One';">moreOne;">Gradski pjevački zbor „Neuma“ iz Drniša u svom širokom repertoaru veliku pozornost posvećuje korizmenim napjevima kojima hrvatska tradicijska baština obiluje. Kako nažalost već drugu godinu zaredom, zbog pandemije koronavirusa, održavanje korizmenih koncerata nije dozvoljeno, odlučili smo izraditi prigodni video program. Korizmeni recital „Via crucis“ sadrži pjesme snimljene u razdoblju od 2012. do 2020. godine. Snimane su na različitim lokacijama (crkva Gospe od Ružarija i crkva svetog Ante u Drnišu, Muzej za umjetnost i obrt u Zagrebu), na koncertima, ali i na zborskim probama u Srednjoj školi Ivana Meštrovića u Drnišu. Najveći dio pjesama je snimljen u crkvi Gospe od Ružarija u Drnišu. Unutrašnjost crkve vidljiva je u kadrovima koji prate pjesmu „Tužno plače“ te ulomke iz korizmenog napjeva „Puna tuge, Majka staše“. Ulomci napjeva „Puna tuge, Majka staše“ snimljeni su u varijanti koja se izvodi u Drnišu u sklopu pobožnosti Križnog puta. Pjesmu „Narode moj ljubljeni“ (trad. Lađevac), uz Neumu pjevaju ...
