This version is based on an arrangement by The Poozies. This concert was the culmination of a six-week project which creates a choir from scratch for one night only. Each winter and summer, Chris Rowbury gathers a random bunch of singers from in and around Ipswich. There are no auditions and all songs are taught and learnt by ear. The Chorus sings a wide repertoire of music drawn from classical, pop, musical theatre and folk as well as the more traditional welsh hymns that are often expected! ​Since it was established, the choir has raised many thousands of pounds for charitable causes over the years.​ We rehearse at the Craven Arms Community Centre every Monday evening at 7:30pm, with the exception of bank holidays, January, and August.  less
