We aim to be the most entertaining male voice choir in the South West and for the City of Truro to be proud of us. The ethos of the choir is to have fun and enjoy singing. Each year we host a visiting choir and also spend a weekend away.
We are a registered charity, and our current membership is over 50.We give approximately a dozen concerts a year less

The Revelations comprising 10 voices, have the distinction of being the only choral group in Sri Lanka & South Asia to win the title ‘Champion of the World choir Games - in two categories ‘Gospel & Spiritual’ and ‘male Voice Ensemble’ together wit... moreThe Revelations comprising 10 voices, have the distinction of being the only choral group in Sri Lanka & South Asia to win the title ‘Champion of the World choir Games - in two categories ‘Gospel & Spiritual’ and ‘male Voice Ensemble’ together with two Gold Medals and in addition won a Silver Medal in the ‘Popular Choral Music Ensemble’ category, at the recently concluded World choir Games which was held in Graz, Austria from the 09th to the 19th of July 2008.
The Revelations also has the distinction of making it to the Top 50 male choirs in the World as listed by the Musica Mundi World Ranking List, presented by the Interkultur Foundation, who are the organizers of the world’s largest choral competitions.

Since 2008 the St. Lawrence choir has been under the direction of Michael Zaugg. The Swiss-born musician has distinguished himself as an innovative and versatile conductor on the Canadian choral scene. Active as artistic director, guest conductor, pedagogue and clinician, Michael Zaugg brings a wealth of experience and creativity to his work.
St. Lawrence choir was formed in 1972 by Iwan Edwards and a group of singers residing in the West Island of Montreal. Concerts were presented in Lachine until 1983 when the choir relocated to downtown Montreal.
