A restless, energetic SATB piece suitable for collegiate Choirs. A driving piano part--influenced by minimalism and rock Music--provides a rhythmic impetus for more expansive, colorful vocal lines. At turns frenzied, lyrical, and visceral, this piece pays disillusioned tribute to that not-so-glamorous icon of the open road, the Greyhound bus.

It also aims to provide an opportunity for passionate singers to discover the voice as a singing instrument, develop high-level Musical skills related to choral singing, influence choral Music appreciation, develop cultural awareness, use choral Music as a tool for change in building a better community, and finally, to represent Eastern Visayas in both local and international choral scenes. Although the texts are in the Public Domain, the German translations by Anna Siemsen that Zemlinsky used are protected in the EU until 2037. Videos including the translations that would be broadcast to the world on a service such as YouTube are forbidden until then. However, those three songs may be performed in the USA until 2037 and worldwide thereafter.
