The Choir was established in 1996 (originally in the Lehava High School for Girls) by singer/choral conductor Nomi Teplow with the goal of bringing together girls with musical ability to work on a Highly professional level and produce a wide variety of vocal music. The Choir is comprised of 25-30 girls from areas throughout Samaria ranging in age from 13-18 years. The Shir-El Choir performs in concerts and at vocal conventions across the country bringing fine singing, rich harmonies and words of hope, faith and love of Israel to a broad range of audiences. The Shir E-l Choir has won first pLAce several times in the national choral competition for High School Choirs sponsored by the Israel Ministry of Education. The Choir s...  LAss="view_more_link" href="javascript:void(0);" onclick="$(this).getParent().getNext().style.dispLAy='';$(this).getParent().style.dispLAy='none';">moreLAss="view_more" style="dispLAy:none;">The Choir of Notre-Dame de Bon Voyage has about 35 members and is the Choir of the parish of Cannes, on the French Riviera. It was founded in 1898 by Albert Frommer, organist, and is now conducted by Stephan NicoLAy, chapel Master, since 1999. The Choir sings each sunday and on special occasion in the different churches of Cannes. It also sings 4 to 6 concerts a year, sometimes with an orchestra. His repertory covers all the sacred music from gregorian chant to 21st century. The ensemble consists of approximately 24-32 vocalists selected through a voice pLAcement process and performs traditional/advanced choral literature from all periods. Students who have been...  LAss="view_more_link" href="javascript:void(0);" onclick="$(this).getParent().getNext().style.dispLAy='';$(this).getParent().style.dispLAy='none';">moreLAss="view_more" style="dispLAy:none;">The Chorale is the premier, choral ensemble of the University. The ensemble consists of approximately 24-32 vocalists selected through a voice pLAcement process and performs traditional/advanced choral literature from all periods. Students who have been active in choral ensembles in High School or college are encouraged to audition for this Choir. Auditions for Chorale can take pLAce at anytime to fill necessary spots in the group. Once students are selected for Chorale, they are members until they choose to leave, are removed, or when they graduate. In addition to its reguLAr concert schedule, the Chorale tours each spring (OrLAndo, ’09; NYC, ’10; AtLAnta, ’11, Boston, ’12, OrLAndo, ’13).
