In Abgrenzung von Kammer- und Kirchenchor stiftete der Name „Jedweder Küchenchor“ eine Identität, die es in der Folge erlaubte, sich quer durch das Repertoire der Musikliteratur zu singen. Nach den anfänglich ausschließlich musikalischen Chordarbietungen, entdeckte der Chor immer mehr die Lust zur kreativen Bühnengestaltung und begann dramaturgische Elemente in die musikalische Darbietung einzubauen. Für das Programm „Familie Grinzinger besteigt einen Berg“ 1997, engagierte er erstmals eine Regisseurin (Nika Sommeregger), die den Chor bei der Inszenierung unterstützte. By engaging in an intense study, could soon join the most important events of prestigious choralcompetitions earning statements in Arezzo and Ravenna in 1978 and 1979 and Gorizia in 1982. The polyphonic sacred and secular music certainly represents the most relevant part of the repertoire that the Polyphonic Group “Claudio Monteverdi” successfully brings to churches and theaters both in Italy and abroad. Among the repertoire, we can find 1500’s and Baroque musical compositions by Palestrina, Da Victoria, Gallus, Viadana, Hassler, Monteverdi. Among the Romantic authors, on the other hand, we can find Schubert, Schumann, Sibelius, and Rossini. Concerning modern Polyphonic music: Poulenc, Kodaly, Bardos, Pizzetti, and Orff. The composer writes: "I wanted to make a piece about the creation story but I didn't want to highlight one religion's or culture's narrative over another." "It was important for me to try to find something universal, something present in all stories, or common to all cultures. I hit upon the idea of making a kind of checklist of everything that needed to be created to get the world to this point, without each individual culture's stories or myths or exoticisms. I went back to the first chapter of Genesis, to see what I could get out of my own culture's story, and I stripped away all the descriptions, adjectives, connectors and motivators.
