Le Festival SAWT (3ème édition - Du 12 au 15 Avril 2017) Le Cantique de Jean Racine est une œuvre pour chœur mixte à 4 voix et orgue (il existe deux orchestrations datées de 1875 et de 1901). Cette œuvre est une vraie réussite pour un jeune compositeur âgé de seulement 19 ans. In 1560 the School was re-founded by Queen Elizabeth I for boys to be “liberally instructed in good books to the greater honour of the state.” Ever since, the School’s history has been intertwined with the momentous state events and political turmoils of the capital. Old Westminsters dominated Parliament for most of the eighteenth century and the output of leading politicians, statesmen and soldiers has continued to this day. Under the direction of Itai Daniel, ECC sings the major repertoire of Jewish music, either liturgical or secular. Ensemble Choral Copernic maintains the High musical tradition which is the basis of the liturgy of ULIF-Copernic. 1 weekly rehearsal

We enjoy entertaining and competing, and have a lot of fun, whilst constantly working on improving our sound. We always welcome visitors at our rehearsals, and are always happy to recruit new members. The chorus is a member of the Ladies Association of British Barbershop Singers (LABBS)
