We’re dedicated to making a beautiful sound together in a Choir where every voice counts.  

Sospiri was founded by the composer John Duggan and the singer Christopher Watson. We are based in Oxford and many of our younger singers have gone on to sing professionally in London. We sing a wide range of classical repertoire, from Gregorian Chant and...  moreSospiri was founded by the composer John Duggan and the singer Christopher Watson. We are based in Oxford and many of our younger singers have gone on to sing professionally in London. We sing a wide range of classical repertoire, from Gregorian Chant and Renaissance polyphony to contemporary works, many written by John Duggan. We have recorded two discs for The Gift of Music and give concerts in Oxford and London, as well as making regular trips to France and Italy.

The ensemble has been in residence at The Church of St. Ignatius of Antioch since 2003....  morePolyhymnia is a small select ensemble of singers focusing on historically informed performance of sacred music from the courts and cathedrals of the Renaissance world. The ensemble has been in residence at The Church of St. Ignatius of Antioch since 2003. Polyhymnia's singers are drawn from many sources, including some of the finest church Choirs in New York Since 2000, director John Bradley has been creating original editions of music for the ensemble, some of it secreted in manuscript collections since the 16th century. Working in concert with libraries, liturgical historians and institutions, Polyhymnia hopes to both preserve and reintroduce choral masterworks of the Renaissance and early Baroque in ways that both entertain and elucidate. In addition to the concert series, the ensemble's unique relationship with Saint Ignatius of Antioch, a forerunner in the preservation of historical liturgy, provides opportunities to perform Renaissance and Baroque music in a liturgical context, while fostering musical ...    less

Our singers are all ages and come from all walks of life. Our motto is musical excellence in the Barbershop style" and we strive to bring that excellence to every performance. We like to perform in and around our Community. We perform almost anywhere, including parties, business meetings, churches, and theaters. We have been regular performers at the Muckenthaler Cultural Center in Fullerton and at Disneyland for several years. We offer quality family entertainment for most budgets.  less
