Herter, with assistance from Ryszard Gieros and Alfred Stefankiewicz. Almost from the very beginning, it has been afliated with St. John’s Archcathedral in Warsaw, initially as a boys’ choir. it has performed with many Polish and foreign symphony orchestras. foreign tours have taken the choir to over twenty countries. it has won numerous awards at international choral competitions, including those in Lecco, italy (1997), Moscow (2000), Prague (2002, 2003, 2004, 2017), Międzyzdroje, Poland (2004), Warsaw (2013, 2015, 2016), Grójec, Kraków and Łomża (2017). it has also taken part in several television and theatre productions. In our quest to become global citizens of the 21st century, the PGC performs both locally and abroad. We provide a valuable resource to our local community through assorted outreach performances and we participate in prestigious domestic and international music festivals. In addition to musical benefits, the PGC offers opportunities for the development of leadership skills, higher-order thinking, discipline and self-esteem. The group presents two concerts each year – at Christmas, and in the Spring. it has performed with the Temecula Vintage Singers, and for the Temecula Arts in the Country festival, as well as many local appearances for deserving organizations. The chorus rehearses and performs in the Temecula area. The chorus is one of the Resident Companies performing at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater.
