The choir has 20 experienced singers and performs between four and seven concerts each year, singing a variety of music from classical to light music. Open to beginners or those wishing to improve their technique with industry professionals from the UK. Over 12 weeks students will follow a curriculum tailored to helping each student develop at their own speed in all three areas of the artform. In Singing students will leave voice techniques, explore ensemble singing and perform a variety of repertoire. In acting students will learn how to develop character in scenes and songs, explore the physical journey of a character, improve stage presence and text analysis. In dance students will look at a variety of jazz techniques core to musical theatre dance as well as perform several musical theatre routines. It was originally formed by Ben Camaso as JCSV Chorale, a name patterned in accordance to the Jaime Cardina...  moreThe Munting Himig Chorale (MHC) had its humble beginning way back on the fifth day of January, year 2005 and started with not more than 15 members. It was originally formed by Ben Camaso as JCSV Chorale, a name patterned in accordance to the Jaime Cardinal Sin Village Community, which in that time was newly constructed, located at Punta. Sta. Ana, Manila, where the parish is situated. Before, they compose of only girls, singing melody of the songs of the Holy Mass. A year passed, Virgilio Deloso handled the choir, and divided the girls into two voices, the Sopranos and Altos. It was not so long that the group acquired male participants filling up all the voice sections of a chorale. Shortly after, JCSV Chorale was then disbanded to give rise to what they now call the Munting Himig Chorale, having more than 20 god-endearing and angelic-voiced youth of Punta. Born in September of 2012, the New Hope – Solebury & Lambertville Community Choir is a true community-based and community-oriented chorus, made up of members from the New Hope, Solebury, Lambertville, and immediate surrounding areas. The choir is non-audition, and is open to all singers and would-be singers, ages 14 to 84 (and beyond). NHS&LCC is the New Hope area’s musical voice. We’ll be there a few times a year with concerts, we’ll be singing at community events, for Christmas caroling, at nursing homes & rehab centers, and more.  less

Following the move in 1983 into the West End of Glasgow the choir was renamed Glasgow Lyric Choir. ​ Under its present conductor, Julian Evans, the Choir sings a wide repertoire of choral music from the Baroque, Classical and Romantic periods and traditional Scots and Gaelic songs. We are a Mixed voice choir numbering around 30 at present. ​ We gave two concerts in Glasgow during the 2017-2018 season: in December we presented a Christmas programme and in June we gave a concert featuring a selection of music from the movies. However, in April we also gave two concerts in Italy, the first in Barga (including a Vivaldi Credo and Scottish songs) and the second in Milan where we joined forces with Canti Corum to sing Dvorak’s Mass in D. ​ Choir members enjoy many social as well as musical events together.
