Other age group sessions will follow. No auditions, no fundraising and once a week rehearsals to fit busy schedules. ​The Choir rehearsals will teach vocal technique, voice production and projection, learning to sing in two part harmony, movement and rhythm, help build confidence, solo singing opportunities, performances and overall to have fun singing!! Under the direction of Diana Clark since 2009, Children’s Choir consists of caring young musicians from diverse cultural heritages, ages 9-15 years old. Storytelling, joy of singing, connection and flexibility of performance are the core values of this group. The Choir also loves to work with guest conductors and share with other Choirs. They have recently been guest singers with Vancouver Chamber Choir. In the past years, Chamber Choir Orfej has received a number of awards, which places them among the more prominent Slovenian Choirs. Orfej has proven its High level of vocal performance in April 2010 at the prestigious Slovene national Choir competition ‘Naša Pesem’ (i. e. ‘Our Song’). The Choir scored 93 points, received the gold award, and the second prize in the category ‘mixed Choirs’.

Also winning ...  moreIn the World Choir Championships which was held in Graz, Austria between 10th-17th July 2011, Boğaziçi Jazz Choir became the 'WORLD CHAMPION' in Contemporary Music and Folklore categories, and got the 'second prize' in Mixed Choirs category. Also winning 2 more gold medals in 'Grand Prix of Choral Music' the champions competed in, the Choir has come back to Turkey with a total of 5 gold medals.
