The choir performs concerts each semester and also sings at Remembrance Day ceremonies, convocation ceremonies, and other events on campus and in the communIty. We are a volunteer, non-audItioned group open to all, but choir members are expected to regularly attend rehearsals and the semester retreat, and to practice their parts on their own time. We usually put up practice files under “Resources” (members-only access) so that you can Download your part and listen to It on whatever portable music-playing device you own. No musical experience is needed, but the abilIty to read music is an asset (if you can't read music, we'll help you learn).  less

In the past years, Chamber choir Orfej has received a number of awards, which places them among the more prominent Slovenian choirs. Orfej has proven Its high level of vocal performance in April 2010 at the prestigious Slovene national choir competItion ‘Naša Pesem’ (i. e. ‘Our Song’). The choir scored 93 points, received the gold award, and the second prize in the category ‘mixed choirs’.
