We are a friendly choir of all ages, who go on overseas tours every two to three years. We meet on Wednesday evenings from 7.15 to 9.30pm during term time.

Founded in 1989 by Mr. Albert Morland to provide an opportunity for ex-members of the Wonderboom High School Choir to continue singing together after matriculating, it has since evolved to include members from a broader community that come from various backgrounds and professions (including law, accounting, nursing, teaching and IT) and are between 18 and 65 years of age. The choir has toured and performed across South Africa during the past 30 years and has an established reputation as a warm, friendly and “no-fuss” group with good choral sound who are just as comfortable performing at nursing homes and other charitable events as they are performing alongside the best choirs in the world on International stages, for instance, at the 10th World Choir Games in 2018, where they took home a silver medal (79.5%) in the champion’s category for mixed adult choirs. Kornelsen, the Denver Pro Chorale is comprised of thirty-six musicians based in the Denver Metropolitan area. The Denver Pro Chorale specializes in singing diverse a cappella choral repertoire including contemporary works from around the world. The Denver Pro Chorale recently concluded its second season with its first independent concert to a sold out audience at Denver’s Church of the Ascension. Earlier this year, the Denver Pro Chorale was invited to sing at the Colorado Music Educator’s Association convention in Colorado Springs. Moving into its third season, the Denver Pro Chorale is looking forward to collaborating with the Metropolitan State University and St. Martin’s Chamber Choir in joint concerts in addition to a Christmas concert and a concert at Denver’s Church of the Ascension in the spring of 2015.
