The choir recently won the Gold medal for Folklore category and Silver Medal for Children's category in the 6th Grand Prix Pattaya International Choir Competition last July 25 - 27, 2013 in Pattaya, Thailand.

Children learn to sing together, about vocal development and musicianship, and most importantly have fun! The choir will give regular performances in and around Fulham. The two outer movements draw their words and inspiration from boisterous cries of 17th century market vendors as once featured in 'The Cries of London' by Orlando Gibbbons. The second movement features the words of a Scottish poet, William Dunbar (c. 1460-c.1520), in which he praises the English capital, and includes the line 'London, thou art the flower of cities all'. Together, these settings evoke a surprisingly contemporary impression of London's sights, sounds, and moods, inspiring some irresistible music, by turns contemplative and unquenchably thrilling. This 'capital' cantata was written in 2001 for the Diamond JUbilee of the Barnet Choral Society, of which Chilcott is President.  less

Their mission is to mount performances for various audiences with music by well known composers, while exploring the works of lesser known composers. In mid-April, 2011, Ola spent 3 days on the Central Washington University Campus for a project in which he joined the choir in recording 3 of his compositions. On this video, Gjeilo adds an Improvised accompaniment (in a one-take rendition) to his composition "Northern Lights"-- which is published as an unaccompanied piece. Because of his view that Improvising is a wonderful snapshot of artists "at that moment", the project was entitled "In the Moment". The other composition to which he created an Improvised accompaniment was "Ubi Caritas". He also accompanied the choir on "The Ground", which includes CWU's resident faculty quartet -- the Kairos String Quartet.
