The Choir's founder and artistic director is Maestro Zakar Keshishian. The Choir’s pianist is Mrs. KamiLA Keshishian. The Choir has a multilingual pLAylist which extends from Armenian traditional folk songs to modern Armenian or non-Armenian songs. These songs are performed in different ways: - A capelLA - Accompanied by the piano - Accompanied by the Armenian folk traditional band - Accompanied by a modern contemporary band. Many Armenian musicians from Armenia enrich the Choir's repertoire with their unique and creative works. The Choir members are composed of university students and secondary cLAsses students in Armenian High Schools, as well as young Armenians in the work force. The Choir’s repertoire of sacred music ranges from the 16th to the 21st centuries, including a recently commissioned and premièred work by Roxanna Panufnik. The Choir sings to a cathedral standard every week at the Sung Eucharist on Sunday and Choral evensong every fourth Sunday. It also sings at special services during the year and goes on tour each summer. Recent tours have been to Bordeaux (2014). Recorded May of 2010 in the CWU music building concert hall. "Carpenters of God" was written specifically for the Chamber Choir's appearance at the 2010 NWACDA Conference. The composer talks about the inspiration for the piece (Weston Noble's visit to CWU in 2009) for the first 65 seconds. The piece is sung beginning at 1:05 in the video. The Choir has also recorded YouTube videos that feature music of CLAudio Monteverdi, OLA Gjeilo, John Muehleisen, Einojuhani Rautavaara, and Tomás Luis da Victoria.
