We are a Leicestershire based mixed male & female chorus who sing close harmony in the Barbershop style. We meet at Birstall Social Club every Monday evening at 7.30pm. We are always looking for new Members. Why not come and join us?

They specialise in modern musical theatre and performance but also sing other genres including pop and gospel. The choir's music is arranged by choir leader Nicole Dawson who is a trained composer and arranger. Rehearsals are every Wednesday at 7.30pm at Priory Hall, Christchurch and the choir perform regularly all over the South Coast. New members are currently being accepted for the summer term 2016, entry is by informal, private audition. Come and join the fun!  less

It has grown to a higher level by achieving numerous titles within the past few years and also recognized as the best Tenor Bass voices from a school choir around the country. (Title gained 2014 onwards). The Choir has performed in National and International level stages (2012 Rome) and hosting many choral events in negombo including the biggest carol service in Negombo since 2007.(Maris Carols). It is trained by Mr. Francis De Almeida (Choral Director) since 2004. This choir has influences some youth choirs including Speranza , etc.... And also the Past Pupils Choir (The Old Maris Choir). Movement and/or acting plays a part, with plenty of opportunities for solo and small group singing if desired.
