Co-directed by Peter Ness and Asher Farber, with piano accompaniment, the choir requires no auditions, just a love of singing and the ability to carry a tune! We rehearse from September to June on Tuesday evenings in the Bathurst and Finch area. We also perform regularly for seniors at residences in the GTA. El principal objetivo del coro es mostrar la grandeza de la música vocal de todos los países y épocas mediante conciertos didácticos dirigidos a todos los públicos. "Coro Vis Vocis" war born in September 2019. Its members, aged 18-35, are professional and amateurs musicians who share the passion for the music. The main purpose is to show how magnificent is the vocal music from every country and era through pedagogic concert for all aged audience.  less

One Voice Children's Choir or also known as OVCC, is part of the Music Ministry of San Bartolome Parish, the oldest church in Malabon City. Children who loves singing and serving God at the same time. This group is composed of children ages 15 and below.

Esercita per molti anni la funzione di Cap...  moreL’attuale Coro della Polifonica Materana “Pierluigi da Palestrina” trae origine dal Coro a voci bianche-voci virili costituito nel 1944 per iniziativa del Prof. Lucio Marconi e del canonico don Luigi Paternoster. Esercita per molti anni la funzione di Cappella Musicale, dapprima presso la chiesa di San Francesco da Paola, poi presso il Duomo cittadino, conseguendo contemporaneamente numerosi successi in campo concertistico. Nel 1965 il Coro vince a Napoli il Primo Premio al Concorso Corale Nazionale indetto dal Ministero della Pubblica Istruzione. Nello stesso anno, incide per la Fonit Cetra un LP di canti popolari materani armonizzati per coro virile. Negli anni ’70 l’attività corale viene sospesa per carenza di voci bianche, ma l’Associazione continua ad organizzare prestigiose Stagioni Musicali. The choir gives and annual Easter and Christmas performance, an annual Summer Concert and European Tour. Their repertoire ranges from Handel’s Zadok the Priest to Karl Jenkin’s The Armed Man. The Choir has performed in many major venues around in Europe, including St Nicolas Church Prague to St Mark’s Venice, and has sung in many commercial concerts including premiere of James Brett’s Book of Dreams and performed for the Queen’s arrival at Bushy Park during her Majesty’s Golden Jubilee, where the choir also deputised for the Opera Babes. Hymns and other song ministration were handled by Gospel Dynamics in the University of Cape Coast (UCC) Local of the Union. Some GHAMSU members of the 2003/2004 year group who were also part of Gospel Dynamics then thought it wise to establish a choir because the feel of Methodism was missing in the Union. It all started when Brother Ernest Morgan Acquah, Brother Ebenezer Edem Beble, Brother Charles Aaron Adams Ekuban and Brother Fredrick Amissah usually meet in the evenings to sing hymns. These brothers decided to establish a choir in GHAMSU. The then executives did not want to accept the decision of forming a choir simply because they thought the Union was doing alright with Gospel Dynamics. and that forming a new choir will bring tension and competition among the wings.
