The school's choir became very successful in the mid-1980s, winning many competitions including the Llangollen Eisteddfod. When school was over, it seemed natural to carry on singing together as a choir, and the group's achievements included reaching the semi-finals of Sainsbury's Choir of the year and appearing on Opportunity Knocks.
In the 1990's, the choir moved to Harrow and officially became known as Jubilate. Sarah Stroh took over as Musical Director in 1999 and since then the choir has grown signIficantly, doubling in size to its current membership of 43. There are still some original members of the choir, who have been singing together for more than 25 years.
Our recent competition successes include winning the Barnardo's National Choir competition in March 2013 and the ladies choir, folk and popular music classes and runner-up with distinction in the sacred music class in the 2012 Mid-Somerset Festival. We came fourth at the prestigious Interna... less

In Lucem
You will forget your sorrow.
You will be happy, you will clothe yourself in light.
Your sadness will be made a vague memory.
We will shout and sing and reap in joy.
We will laugh again, we will love again.
Our sadness will be like a river Traveling across the earth, flowing into the ocean.
You will forget your sorrow.
You will be happy, you will clothe yourself in light. less
