South Salem High School's Symphonic Choir preforming at the Oregon 6A choir championships. The fabulous amazing spectacular Carol Stenson is their long stAnding director. South Salem took FIRST PLACE at Oregon's State Competition. This was their second song of four. This whole competition took place at George Fox University in Newburg Oregon. The South Salem Saxons also took first at their Districts festival in Salem/Keizer Oregon.

This outdoor performance was the culmination of a six-week project which creates a choir from scratch for one night only. Each winter And summer, Chris Rowbury gathers a rAndom bunch of singers from in And around Ipswich. There are no auditions And all songs are taught And learnt by ear.
