From its very beginning in October 16, 1956 and until now, it is made up exclusively of Male students and graduates of National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (former Moscow Engineering Physics Institute). The Choir’s directors have traditionally been exclusively women — talented Choirmasters who represented the classical Russian choral school.
The repertoire of the MEPhI Male Choir includes practically all genres of choral music: Russian and Western classics and spiritual music, opera choruses, works by modern composers, Russian folksongs, and some popular songs of the Soviet era. less

The constitution and first rehearsal of the Choir was held on January 18, 2016.
The Choir has been holding since its foundation regular weekly rehearsals, and has grown into the biggest Male Choir in Croatia, but also wider.
The Choir in its repertoire emphasizes classical choral literature, primarily Croatian composers. In addition, the Choir's repertoire includes both a cappella compositions of the classical repertoire, from Renaissance to contemporary music, as well as the clapet and compositions of contemporary or popular multilayer music. Members of the Choir are present the former students and staff of the Faculty, as well as other interested friends and supporters of the Faculty.
Since foundation, Choir has won multiple golden plaques and more than 80 concerts or performances. less

The Choir was founded in 1838 by Fredrik Pacius and is the oldest extant Choir in Finland. At present, Akademen has around 60 active singers, most of whom are University students. However, quite a few choose to stay in the active Choir long after graduation, which makes for a healthy mix of youth and experience. We give concerts regularly in Finland, and travel abroad as frequently as possible. In addition to all the Scandinavian and most European countries, Akademen has been on tour in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the United States, Hong Kong, the Philippines, and Singapore. We believe that ambitious musical development can go hand-in-hand with tradition, and work enthusiastically to keep alive the dialogue between past and present. less
