We also undertake Occasional Cathedral visits throughout the year. As you'd expect, there's a lot of focus on the music of the English Choral Tradition, but we also explore European and American repertoire too.

We have a varied repertoire of well-known pop and jazz songs, as well as the Occasional folk song. A mixed Choir or various age groups, we have regular concerts in the Berlin region, but also further afield, often abroad. The attached picture is from our 2014 concert at the Berlin Philharmonic Hall.
We are keen to hear from anyone who would like to sing with us, but also from other Choirs interested in clubbing together with us for a concert or two. less

A performance by a live Choir (a cappella and at the correct pitch) can be heard on the score page.

unaware that a miracle has happened and asking them to look up to where the angels are singing.

This performance, however was part of the memorial service in St Martin in the Fields, for Ruth Rudge, who was a very distinguished and lovely lady, and also my first boss. The ladies of the Occasional Choir, whose beginnings were as the Madrigal Choir at West Heath, which I co-founded, all those years ago, are the singers, including one of the six that took part in the very first performance. I am conducting, and Penny Walker, who now directs the Choir is accompanying. Unfortunately less than half the singers are visible in the video. less
