Very much (but not exclusively) in The barbershop stlye. Even though we have only been going a few months, our numbers have been increasing weekly as more and more people are seduced by The magical sound of ringing chords. We aim to be a serious performing Chorus in due course. We have had a very successful 2012 and hope for even better in 2013 where we have a whole host of exciting things planned. Stay tuned! Although Their trajectory is short They...  moreTantak Korala is a child-Youth group from Mungia, which performs choral activities in addition to his musical training. The choir is composed by children between 7 to 18, all directed by Their conductor, Asun Lopez. Although Their trajectory is short They have much encouragement to learn and improve. In 2009, They federated in The Bizkaia´s Choir Federation (BAE) and so They did Their first performance in public. Since Then, They have decided to continue participing everywhere They can, because it enriches Them in Their musical konwledge. In 2010 They won The second prize in The National Contest of Carols of Santo Domingo de la Calzada. In 2012 They took part in Europa Cantat Festival, celebrated in Torino (Italy).  less

Moses Hogan (1957-2003) Spiritual Moses Hogan was an internationally renowned pianist, composer and arranger of choral music best known for his arrangements of spirituals. He studied with a full scholarship at Oberlin Conservatory of Music before continuing with his graduate studies at Julliard School of Music. He won several piano competitions during his performance years and published many CD's as well as songbooks. 'Hold On!' is an example of his 'soloist vs choir' style of spiritual arrangements. There is a solo throughout that sings The primary lyrics and message of The song while The rest of The choir provides a lively and energetic - often rhythmic - accompaniment.
