Performing a repertoire ranging from Renaissance polyphony to unique Jazz and pop arrangements, The group has been praised for stunning performance, exquisite singing and creating a sound that spans The entire range of Vocal colour. Founded in 2003 by ex-choristers of Westminster Abbey, VOCES8 first achieved success in 2005, winning first prize at The International Choral Grand Prix in Gorizia, Italy. Subsequently The group has performed widely in The UK, Europe, The USA, Africa and Asia. VOCES8’s career has developed both in The classical choral scene and The world of a cappella. In 2009, The group’s first commercial album, EVENSONG, was nominated for a CARA. The group’s most recent release, ACES HIGH, is a scintillating collection of VOCES8’s unique interpretations of Jazz and pop favourites and Theme tunes from The legendary James Bond movies and is on general release on The Signum Classics ...    less

The group’s repertoire is very eclectic: from spirituals to sacred poly...  moreThe Vocal Ensemble Notevolmente was founded in 2004 by a group of friends who wanted to share Their desire to sing any type of music a capella. At present The choir has 34 members. The group’s repertoire is very eclectic: from spirituals to sacred polyphony, from pop music to regional and international folk songs. The Ensemble has performed in many beautiful churches and oTher landmarks in Rome and in Central Italy, with concerts in The most important concert halls in The capital city and festivals in many wonderful villas and palaces scattered around The countryside near Rome. In 2007 and 2009 The choir participated with great enthusiasm in The International Choir Festival in Val Pusteria. In The 2010 regional choir contest at Formello The choir came first in The pop category and second in The category for choral music from The 20th and 21st centuries. They take Their name after Bruce Springsteen’s album The Seeger Sessions, since Their first concert took place at a lecture on American Folk Music when Springsteen was touring Italy in 2006. In 2011 They published Their first CD, Songs of Freedom, a collection of protest songs with a strong connection to The Civil Rights Movement. In 2015 TSV published Their first original single, “Graces (Dropping Again)” written by ZogaroS. In 2017 TSV will release a concept album of 16 songs and Vocal interludes composed and produced by all The girls. “Broken Dream”, written by Chiara Cortez and Emanuele Jorma Gasperi, is The first single published to launch The record.  less

In Their sound They’re combining variety of styles with an emphasis on gospel and pop. They won The 2nd prize in international competition in Verona, Italy in 2008. In 2011. They won silver prize in Rimini, and also, The special prize for The best group up to 12 singers. During 2012. They performed in 3 contests, in Gorizia (ITA) - 1st prize in pop caThegory, Graz (AUT) - bronze in pop caThegory and Rijeka (CRO) - 1st prize in gospel and Jazz.  less
