We are a truly trans-generational choir consisting of staff, parents, colleagues, friends and family from across the Formby High School community. At full strength, we have over 80 talented members and we have recently launched a smaller ‘function’ group – the ‘G:Force Executive’ for weddings and private functions. We support the national Sing Up campaign and perform regularly across the local community. This exciting and innovative choir rehearses every Tuesday evening during term time, from 6.30pm til 8.00pm. Join us for fun and laughter every week, plus great gigs, inspirational songs and memorable experiences! Our repertoire consists of a broad variety of soul, Gospel, R&B, pop and contemporary commissions. The choir is directed by Dr Simon Lindley, its Music Director, and the organist is David Houlder. The verse soloists are Lucy Appleyard (alto), Toby Ward (tenor) and Philip Wilcox (bass). The group is comprised of Singers from all around the world who all call Hong Kong their home. Under the leadership of Celia Leung, the group strives to add more musical colour to the city. Sing City was seen singing for charity and community events, and also at their own Christmas and Summer performances. The group participated in the Karuizawa International Choral Festival in August 2018.  

We are a long establised choir joined by our passion for singing and music. We are made up of people from all walks of life - some trained to sing and others not.
