The group was set up to perform exciting vocal material at a variety of events, and to give men and women who love singing, the platform to get involved in a fun and sociable musical experience. The Voice Of The Town family has now grown and not only do we have our choirs in Newcastle and Birmingham, but we also have choirs in Edinburgh and Glasgow.  

Acappellago was founded in 2002 by a number of community members seeking a musical challenge. We present a wide variety of music ranging from classical, contemporary, jazz, pop, gospel, spirituals & have given a number of world, US & Chicago premieres.

Led by artistic director and conductor, Jakub Martinec, the Czech Boys Choir organization provides artistic training for boys from the age of three to adult, and consists of the professional touring SATB concert choir, the Young Men's Ensemble with conductor Jennifer Beynon Martinec, and the training choir Zpěváček, led by Simona Hlavatá. The repertoire of Mundus Cantat, a mixed chamber choir, includes various kinds of music – old melodies, modern songs as well as sacral music and popular music. Its members have participated in many major music events, such as oratorio performances dedicated to Pope John Paul II or a concert directed by Enio Morricone during the Solidarity Festival.
