Paralia is a touristic seaside village situated on The west coast of The Thermaic Gulf and in The shadow of Olympus.
The Festival has two parts: competitive and non-competitive. However, The character and The main concept of both parts is joining Music, vacation, friendship and fun. The idea of The Festival is to bring The Music closer to The people and to present The Music on The streets and The squAres of Paralia, Olympic Beach and Katerini. All choir ensembles, regardless of The members’ gender and age can apply for participation at The Festival.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
All choir ensembles may join one part of The Festival: Competitive or Non-competitive.

Tamariki offers a focus on thorough and excellent Music education, with singers learning about healthy vocal production, The body-voice connection, and vibrant performance presence as well as a strong emphasis on Musical literacy, Music Theory, and sightsinging skills. As with all our ensembles, Tamariki provides a secure and accepting social environment where all singers feel Their importance as members of The group. Most importantly, Tamariki has fun and creates exciting Music!
To better address The different needs and abilities of this diverse age range, The choir is now split into two streams:
Tamariki 1 is for singers in Kindergarten and Grade 1. (Singers must be 5 years old by March 1, 2014 in order to register.)
Tamariki 2 is for singers in Grades 2 and 3.
