We are a newly formed ensemble of women's voices from Canterbury in Kent. Our repertoire ranges from classical motet to jazz and female barbershop. We perform on a regular basis across Kent and have on going partnership links with choirs in the UK and France.

We a...  moreShades of Harmony is a women's A Cappella chorus based in Williamstown, NJ. We are also a member chorus of Sweet Adelines International. We enjoy sharing our love of singing in 4 part harmony with performances throughout the southern New Jersey area. We also attend and compete in the Sweet Adelines Region 19 convention annually. We welcome women of all ages (teens to seniors) and all vocal ranges to attend a rehearsal and find out what we're all about.

Performance by the Mansfield university Concert choir conducted by Peggy Dettwiler at the 2014 World choir Games in Riga, Latvia. They won a gold medal and third place in the Mixed Youth choir Category.

In 1968, the choir was awarded the status of a National choir. Over the years, the choir has been led by many talented conductors, e.g. Centis Kriķis, Kārlis Beinerts, Edvīns and Inga Dziļums, Ints Teterovskis, etc. Today the conductors of the choir are Evita Taranda and Zane Zilberte; choir master is Roberts Hansons. The repertoire of the choir varies, as performances include all sorts of music from the time of renaissance to modern music or music written by contemporary artists, e.g. Paul McCartney's oratorio "Ecce Cor Meum" or Czech composer Petr Eben's music "De Circuito Aeterno". The choir has performed in many countries and it has received many awards and international recognition in international competitions. Nevenka's repertoire includes songs from Bulgaria, Macedonia, Croatia, Albania, Russia, Greece, and Georgia, as well as Ladino Sephardic and Rom (Gypsy) songs. The group was formed in 1976 by women who shared a common interest in the complex harmonies and compelling rhythms typical in Balkan music. Very much in the Eastern European tradition, Nevenka includes women of all ages making music together.
