Every year the choir adds a different kinds of Music to its repertoire as long as they’re acappella and produces at least 2 relevant projects in every performance year. A joyous exclamation which is set at a wedding, where the groom is being asked: "Where are you hiding the bride". Traditional Sesotho South African traditional Music is known for their movement and dancing in their songs, and the UP Youth choir accentuates this by highlighting the movement in their performance.

We are made up of 3 different choirs - Mixed Chorus, Treble choir, and Concert choir. All of our members are students at Port Huron Northern High School and range from 13-18 years of age. We all share a love of Music and create joy through singing together.

Steven Walker since 1984. Dr. Walker is the Director of Choral Activities and a Linscheid Distinguished Teaching Professor at East Central University. He has served on the Music faculty at ECU since 1983.  less
