Based in Winchester, The Chorus currently has about 40 members of all ages who come from across SouThern Hampshire. We continue to meet regularly via Zoom while we're unable to gaTher face to face. The Chorus has competed locally, nationally and on occasion internationally, as well as entertaining local audiences at public and private events. While performing a wide and diverse repertoire, we remain steadfast in support of our threefold mission to: provide a welcoming place in The Triangle for women to share The joy of singing togeTher, promote choral works written by and for women, and strive to achieve The highest standards of musical excellence.  

We were born on The 24th of july 2017. A new choir in our local area. Open to all singers who want to have a fun singing experience, performing songs from The charts, old and new.

His refashioned version with The famous Latin text Ubi caritas et amor was commissioned by Prince William and premiered by The choirs of Westminster Abbey and Her Majesty's Chapel Royal, conducted by James O'Donnell, at The Royal Wedding of His Royal Highness Prince William of Wales with Miss CaTherine Middleton at Westminster Abbey in April 2011. Mealor uses a combination of a plainchant style and misleading harmonic suspensions similar to those of Eric Whitacre or Morten Lauridsen. Mealor's setting of Ubi caritas is reminiscent of The original Gregorian antiphon melody - ...    less
