Our new Musical Director, Julian Collings joined the choir beginning of 2019. Over the last few years the choir has enjoyed a growing reputation for its repertoire of outstanding contemporary music alongside the established classics. TCS latest performances included The Creation of Haydn, Mendelssohn's Elijah, Mass in Blue of Todd, Rossini's Petite Messe solennelle. The Choir also perform a Christmas Concert every year. Overall we perform three main concerts a year. During its performances TCS enjoys the participation of professional soloists and orchestras and ensembles. Phil Culling is our accompanist. With past successes and imaginative programming, TCS is thriving. We are always glad to welcome new Singers, regardless of age; especiallly those who enjoy their music making. We like to rehearse and perform with our sense of humour switched on.  less

We were born on the 24th of july 2017. A new choir in our local area. Open to all Singers who want to have a fun singing experience, performing songs from the charts, old and new.

Known for fun, musical diversity and standing room only concerts, we celebrate all genres of music from old School gospel, to current uplifting pop, to civil rights anthems, to traditional songs from nations all over the world. 60 voices strong, the Universal Gospel Choir is an open, justice-oriented group celebrating the best of choral music and committed to lifting and inspiring the human spirit.

Since its formation it has presented well over 100 perfor...  moreThe Elgar Chorale is a Worcester-based group of up to 40 Singers, founded by Dr Donald Hunt which has always specialised in English music, with a particular emphasis on the works of Edward Elgar. Since its formation it has presented well over 100 performances and ppeared at each of the Worcester Three Choirs Festivals from 1981 to 1996. Performances have included world premières of works by Sir Richard Rodney Bennett, Herbert Sumsion and Howard Blake, and a British première of Leonard Bernstein’s Missa Brevis. The Chorale was also the principal choral group at the Highly successful Elgar Festivals at Worcester in 2007 and 2009, and last year enjoyed a concert tour in Devon, singing at Colyton, Dartmouth, Exeter and Torquay. It is proud to have Dame Janet Baker, C.H as its Patron.  less

A trio arrangement of the old English folk song "Green Broom" about a young man who is sent out to work and finds a lady who wants to marry him. I have classified this as SSA but it is also possible for Soprano Mezzo and Alto Other lower versions are coming soon.
