Who is Silvia? what is she,
That all our swains commend her?
Holy, fair, and wise is she;
The heaven such grace did lend her,
That she might admirèd be.
Is she kind as she is fair?
For beauty lives with kindness.
Love doth to her eyes repair,
To help him of his blindness;
And, being helped, inhabits there.
Then to Silvia let us sing,
That Silvia is excelling;
She excels each mortal thing
Upon the dull earth dwelling;
To her let us garlands bring less

Synopsis
Glaciares is a work that delves into the profound process of how we are forged, both by the forces of nature and by the people who influence our lives. Inspired by the majesty and relentless power of glaciers, this composition uses them as a metaphor, transposing their might onto the people who, through their presence, shape us and leave an indelible mark.
In each of us, these individuals are like giants who, much like glaciers, move mountains and sculpt valleys, paving the way for us to find our destiny. Through the simplest and most primitive elements of life, we find the essence of what shapes us day by day. It is in the everyday, in the elemental, where the strength that transforms us and prepares us to face the world’s challenges is hidden.
